Guidelines
We only publish content about AI and technology that helps digital businesses run, ship, and scale — tools, workflows, growth, marketing, ops, and dev tooling. The bar is editorial, not stylistic: if a draft would still be useful to a reader six months from now, it's probably a fit.
In scope
AI tools & agents, SaaS & growth, marketing & SEO, dev tooling, MCP, and operator playbooks for digital businesses. Out of scope: CBD, crypto / airdrops, gambling, NSFW, gaming, plagiarized or republished work — automatic pass.
We accept
- Original, unpublished work — we run plagiarism + AI checks
- 1,200–2,500 words, with H2/H3 structure and a clear takeaway per section
- Concrete examples, screenshots, or first-party data — not generic advice
- External citations to primary sources (studies, docs, official posts)
- Up to 2 contextual links to your own site, plus 1 byline link
- Original images, diagrams, or screenshots (1200×630+ for hero)
We pass on
- Plagiarized, paraphrased, or AI-rewritten work — we run originality + AI checks on every draft
- Republished content (Medium, Substack, LinkedIn, your own blog) or AI-generated filler with no editorial judgment
- Off-scope verticals: CBD, crypto trading / airdrops / token shilling, gambling & betting, NSFW / adult, gaming, or anything unrelated to AI, SaaS, and digital business
- Promotional posts disguised as guides; affiliate-heavy or anchor-text-stuffed content
- Generic listicles or topics already covered well on tooljunction.io (search before pitching)
- Pieces with no first-party insight — "10 best tools" written by someone who hasn't used them
How submission works
Three steps. Pitches first, drafts after approval — saves both of us time.
- Step 1
Pitch the angle
Email the proposed title, 2–3 line angle, primary keyword, and a brief outline. We don't accept finished drafts cold.
- Step 2
Editorial review
We reply within 2 business days with accept / pass / revise. Approved pitches get a brief and deadline.
- Step 3
Publish & promote
We edit for clarity and SEO, send a preview, and publish. You get a byline, editorial credit, and a feed mention.
Questions writers ask us
Do you accept finished drafts or sponsored posts?
We prefer pitches over finished drafts — it's a faster no for both of us if the angle isn't a fit. Sponsored placements have their own paid path with clear disclosure; email us if that's what you're looking for.
How many links can I include?
Up to two contextual in-body links to your own properties (must be relevant to the section, not stuffed) plus one byline link. Additional outbound links should point to primary sources.
Can I republish the article on my own blog later?
We ask for exclusive rights for 90 days. After that you can republish with a canonical pointing to the ToolJunction URL.
Do you edit the post before publishing?
Yes — light editorial pass for clarity, structure, and on-page SEO. Your voice stays. We share a preview before going live.
How long does the review take?
Pitches: 2 business days. Drafts: up to 5 business days. Publish slot is typically within 1–2 weeks of approval.
Have an angle worth publishing?
Send the pitch — title, primary keyword, and a 2-line angle is enough. We reply within two business days.
