About Keewano
Keewano builds KeewanoDB, a database that keeps data in context and sequence so AI agents can investigate complex event patterns across a full event history. It is backed by a16z speedrun. In September 2026 it raised a $12M seed round led by Hetz Ventures.
What is Keewano?
What is Keewano?
Keewano argues that traditional databases were built around current state, rows, and predefined views, not machine reasoning. When a team asks a question nobody prepared for, it often becomes a data reconstruction project that takes weeks.
Its core product, KeewanoDB, keeps the whole story of the data. According to the company, it routes every question through the complete event sequence so agents have full context from the first event forward and can investigate new questions in seconds without waiting for another pipeline. KeewanoDB is offered as a local engine that runs on one machine and as a managed cloud service for distributed production workloads.
Around the database, Keewano offers Keewano Analytics for open-ended questions across the event record, Keewano Ask for Slack, an MCP server that gives agents direct access to Keewano Analytics, and Keewano Signal, which autonomously surfaces emerging threats and opportunities.
Keewano is based in Tel Aviv and was founded in 2024 by Mark Kardashov, Dima Karger, Pavel Bibergal, and Vitaly Bukhovsky. In September 2026 it came out of stealth with a $12M seed round led by Hetz Ventures, with a16z speedrun, Remagine Ventures, DIG Ventures, and angel investors participating.
