The company was founded in 2024 by John Paz, Antero Silva and Arthur Sorelli. About 90% of its clients are in Brazil, with additional customers in Mexico, Colombia and Iberia. One example shared by the company: during Easter, chocolate brand Chocolat Du Jour handled about 25,000 customer interactions in under eight days using Nuvia, with its AI agents managing 91% of those conversations.
In September 2026 Nuvia raised $1.8 million in a round led by Amador Capital and Nascent, with NXTP, Crivo Ventures, Delusional Capital and Spectra Investimentos participating. This followed a $1.7 million round in April 2025. The company plans to use the funding to improve its platform, grow its sales and marketing teams and expand across Brazil and other Latin American markets.
Nuvia is a fit for consumer brands and B2B sellers in Latin America where WhatsApp is the primary sales channel.
