What is Structured AI?
What is Structured AI?
Structured AI builds an AI drawing review platform for architecture and engineering firms. A modern drawing set can run thousands of pages, and errors hiding between sheets often resurface later as RFIs, change orders, and field rework.
The platform works across PDF drawings and native Revit models. According to the company, its AI agents learn a firm's standards, apply relevant codes, read every page of a set, and return a list of what is wrong, where it sits, and how to fix it. Users can run compliance reviews across thousands of pages in minutes, chat with drawings for sourced answers, build custom checks in plain English, compare versions, overlay disciplines, and close out comments, with an audit trail on every finding. The SaaS News reports the company uses proprietary computer vision models and wants to integrate directly into design authoring software, similar to a spell check, while keeping human oversight.
Structured AI was founded by Raymond Zhao, Issy Greenslade, and Brandon Abreu Smith and is based in New York. It is part of YC's Fall 2025 batch. In June 2026 it raised a $4.2M seed led by FCVC with Y Combinator, 20VC, Cherry Ventures, Zero Prime Ventures, Transpose Platform, and Sequoia Scout.
