About Vorflux
Vorflux builds cloud coding agents that aim to run the entire software development lifecycle, from environment setup and planning to testing, review, and merge. It was founded by Rippling co-founder and CTO Prasanna Sankar. In July 2026 it announced a $15M seed round backed by Y Combinator, Peak XV Partners, Powerset, and Alliance.

What is Vorflux?
Vorflux describes itself as an autopilot for software engineering. Its website pitches cloud agents that ship production code through an opinionated harness that runs the full software development lifecycle on dedicated machines.
Rather than stopping at code generation, Vorflux sets up development environments, builds implementation plans, coordinates code changes, runs tests, reviews code, and manages merges. According to coverage of its launch, the company does not train its own models. It uses models from different AI labs and lets companies apply their own engineering workflows to each session through what founder Prasanna Sankar calls a harness, a way to capture a team's practices and standards. The SaaS News reports that the platform integrates with a team's existing developer stack and performs adversarial reviews and browser-based testing.
Sankar is a co-founder of Rippling and remains its CTO. His argument is that models have become good enough to handle the whole route, but tooling has not caught up, since many cloud assistants cannot run an application's full environment to validate changes. Vorflux announced a $15M seed round in July 2026 with backing from Y Combinator, Peak XV Partners, Powerset, Alliance, and angels including Parker Conrad, Immad Akhund, and Balaji Srinivasan.
Pros
- Targets the full development lifecycle, not only code generation
- Runs work on dedicated cloud machines so agents can test changes in a real environment
- Model-agnostic approach that uses models from multiple AI labs
- Lets teams encode their own engineering standards into each session
Cons
- Public pricing and detailed documentation were limited at the time of the funding announcement
- An opinionated harness may require teams to adapt existing workflows
- Early-stage company with a short public track record
How to Use Vorflux
