What is AIR Security?
AIR Security, which describes its product as "the context firewall for AI agents," helps enterprises control the agent supply chain. As employees and teams adopt AI agents, those agents pull in skills, tools, and add-ons from many sources. AIR discovers the agents running inside a company, continuously vets the extensions they use, and blocks interactions that have not been approved.
The platform also maintains a marketplace of vetted agent extensions, giving teams a safer place to source add-ons. According to TechCrunch, AIR filters out roughly 27% of the add-ons and skills it finds online.
The company targets enterprises, particularly in regulated sectors such as financial services and pharmaceuticals. TechCrunch reports it has more than 20 customers, about a quarter of them large enterprises.
AIR is led by CEO Yair Saban and CTO Niv Hoffman. It came out of stealth in September 2026 with $50 million across two seed rounds: $10 million led by Sequoia and $40 million led by Greenoaks Capital, with angels including Wiz co-founder Yinon Costica and Clay co-founder Varun Anand.
