What is Arrakis Security?
Arrakis Security builds a governance and security platform for the autonomous workforce, meaning the AI agents that enterprises are now deploying across their systems. Its premise is that tools designed to secure human users are a poor fit for software agents that think and act differently.
The platform first discovers the AI agents running inside an organization, then monitors what they do. It creates behavioral profiles for each agent so it can spot activity that deviates from normal patterns. When it detects something suspicious, Arrakis can automatically block unauthorized actions, revoke permissions or trigger response workflows, giving security teams remediation options rather than only alerts.
Arrakis was founded by Tal Baron (CEO), Omer Efrat and Ron Shani and had around 20 employees at the time of its funding announcement. In August 2026 it raised an $8 million Seed round led by Hetz Ventures. Angel participants included ElevenLabs CEO Mati Staniszewski, Torq CEO Ofer Smadari, Pentera founder and CEO Amitai Ratzon and senior executives from Palantir Technologies.
The product is aimed at CISOs and security teams at enterprises that are rolling out agents faster than they can inventory or control them.
