What is Xpander?
Xpander is an enterprise platform for building and running AI agents in production. It targets the gap between AI pilots and real deployment, a problem the company frames with McKinsey data showing that only a small share of organizations have mature AI deployments even though most use AI in some form.
The core of the product is a universal agent harness designed to make agents model-agnostic, so teams can deploy the same agent across different large language models, cloud providers and agent frameworks without rebuilding it. The platform emphasizes control, with per-user permissions and full audit trails for agent activity.
Xpander also offers Omni, which it describes as an agentic forward deployed engineer. According to the company, Omni scored 90.9% on the GAIA benchmark, a test of general AI assistant capabilities.
The company was founded in 2024 by David Twizer (CEO), Moriel Pahima and Ran Sheinberg, who previously worked at AWS. Its customers include global companies in retail, manufacturing, financial services, technology and government, though names are not disclosed. In August 2026 Xpander raised a $7.5 million Seed round led by Pico Venture Partners, with Emerge Ventures, Samsung Next and SeedIL participating.
